I first Tom in 1984 in Masters diving. We are exactly the same age so we competed against each other for over 20 years.

In 1998 Tom won platform diving in both the World Aquatic Championship and in the World Masters Games.

He last competed in Mission Viejo in 2005 where he threw a 5132D from 10 Meters at age 74.

Tom competed in Masters bowling also.

In his spare time he served as Mayor of two cities in Minnesota (Rochester and Roseville).

A big man and full of life, Tom was truly one of the colorful characters of Masters diving.
